The Thousand Islands Country Club has had a very long and distinguished history. It all began back in the late 1800’s when we were known far and wide as a palatial playground for some of the wealthiest families in America.

Situated on beautiful Wellesley Island, we’re directly across from the resort village of Alexandria Bay in the heart of the fabled 1000 Islands. We feature 36 holes of great golf, efficiency villa/suite lodging, Hacker's restaurant, a 100 slip marina, pool, and a reputation for 1000 Islands hospitality that goes back over a hundred years.

One visit to the Islands leaves you with a desire to return year after year. From the pristine waters of the St. Lawrence River to the gilded castles and Victorian island mansions, you’ll marvel at the unspoiled natural beauty of the area. An early explorer, sailing through the Islands in the 1600’s, said it best: “This whole area is like a fairyland, that neither pen nor tongue of man may even attempt to describe.”
